Feasibility studies and strategic plans are a vital first stage of long term projects, particularly in the public sector. Organisations that have commissioned me to look at the feasibility of new revenue streams or projects have included several central government departments and government funded agencies, various city councils , and leading UK universities. Most recently I undertook a feasibility study for music rehearsal spaces in London, on behalf of Creative London (the London Development Agency).
In the private sector there is often some existing communications activity in place which may no longer be relevant or performing to requirement. Here I recommend an audit against objectives so that activities can be re-evaluated from scratch, and the strategy adjusted accordingly. Companies that have benefited from audits include the Royal Bank of Scotland, Land Rover, MG and Mini, and the Marsh McLennan Group.
