I began my career at one of the world’s largest IT companies, initially as Marcom Manager for the Services Division, then as Sponsorship Manager for the UK. There I designed and managed the UK’s most innovative and successful arts sponsorship programme of the time (winning numerous industry awards), co-ordinated international sponsorship activities, and had additional production responsibilities for company-wide conferences.
I then joined an agency to gain supplier experience and designed/managed the UK’s first real example of a socially responsible sponsorship programme centred on the Princes Trust. This complex programme featured an affinity card programme, press and cinema advertising campaigns, numerous celebrity-led events and employee programmes.
Afer this, I built on my corporate and agency experience by co-founding Creatif Ltd, a communications consultancy specialising in sponsorship and social responsibility (work examples are included in this site). After 11 successful years of operation and in need of a change, I dissolved the Creatif partnership to operate as a freelance consultant and pursue additional business interests.
